Coping With COVID-19 Trauma
COVID-19 has created a level of trauma for frontline healthcare workers that is similar to what many in our military have experienced. We created this video specifically for you – to share insights about the nature of this trauma and to share strategies for coping with it.
Letter from our doctors
In launching Stella Center, we are united by a shared mission: to bring relief to those suffering from trauma related symptoms and to advance the way that trauma care is provided.
I, Dr. Lipov, consider post-traumatic stress to be a biological injury with physical, mental and psychological effects. Since 2006, I have been treating post-traumatic stress injury with a biological intervention called Stellate Ganglion Block. I have now provided this treatment to over 1,000 individuals who have suffered from trauma symptoms. Along the way, I have continually improved this approach to make it more effective for veterans, sexual assault victims and the general population who have lived a life struggling with trauma. My partnership with Dr. Springer has shown me that the best outcomes are the result of combining biological and psychological interventions.
I, Dr. Springer, have worked closely with countless military veterans, who have faced, and overcome, unimaginable traumas. The pandemic threat of COVID-19 has created a level of trauma that is similar to what many in our military have experienced. If you are a frontline healthcare worker, or someone who provides onsite support, you are the tip of the spear in the battle at hand. What I’ve learned from working with our nations’ warriors and their families – can help you navigate this time of unknowns. We created this video specifically for you – to share insights about the nature of this trauma and to share strategies for coping with it. We are grateful for your courage and your selfless service during this global health crisis.
While Stella Center will open once social distancing lifts, our call center and scheduling services are available.
