The Stella Center’s mission is to offer relief to trauma-related symptoms by providing safe, convenient, and comfortable patient access to the Stellate Ganglion Block procedure.
A path forward with SGB
There are millions of people who suffer from trauma-related symptoms. Many have never sought help and some who have, have not felt relief from traditional treatment methods. Stella Center offers Dr. Lipov’s adaptation of the Stellate Ganglion Block, a treatment that can offer mental trauma symptom relief and enhance traditional remedies’ impact on healing.
Researchers from the University of Michigan found that after a traumatic event, research and fMRI’s demonstrate the brain “stuck” in a continuous arousal state as a biological response to the trauma. The Stellate Ganglion Block offered by Stella Center targets this response and its symptoms. According to Dr. Springer, SGB can lay the foundation for further gains in follow up care with other mental health treatment providers.
Why Dr. Lipov?
Stella Center’s founder, Dr. Eugene Lipov has performed his adaptation of Stellate Ganglion Block over 1,000 times for patients around the world.
While many anesthesiologists learned this procedure in residency, the success of Dr. Lipov’s thousands of patients over the last 15 years is due to his technical adaptation of the method. The success of Dr Lipov’s practice is based on the foundational science of SGB and his continual refinement of the procedure and materials used to increase the benefit for patients while maintaining or improving the safety of the procedure.
